(1) Falling wall thickness

The standard wall thickness of 6m street lamp pole is 2.5mm-2.75mm. In order to save steel, some manufacturers will reduce the wall thickness to 2.2mm, and even to 2.0mm. With less consumables, the price will naturally be lower.

(2) Cold galvanizing

With the development of the production process of solar street lamps, cold galvanizing with heavy environmental pollution and poor corrosion resistance has been eliminated. However, in order to reduce costs and improve competitive advantage, some manufacturers still use cold galvanizing. The price of cold galvanizing is much lower than that of hot galvanizing, and the effect is certainly much worse than that of hot galvanizing. The rust prevention of hot galvanizing street lamp poles can last for 10 years, while the cold galvanizing street lamp poles must be scrapped after one or two years.

The cold galvanized street lamp pole will rust and corrode after a short time of use. In addition, the wall thickness is far lower than the normal standard. If it is affected by bad weather, it will certainly break.

2、 Luminaires

(1) Housing

The lamp housing is an important barrier to protect the lamps and lanterns, so as to ensure that the light source is not affected by the outside world. If the lamp housing with poor quality is purchased to save costs, it is easy to crack, fracture, water seepage and other problems during use, which seriously affect the street lamp lighting.

(2) Lamp bead

The reason why LED light source is popular is energy saving, environmental protection, long service life and high luminous efficiency. However, LED itself has shortcomings, such as light failure, stroboscopic and uneven illumination. In order to eliminate these shortcomings, LED lamp beads require high technology, and ordinary small workshops cannot produce high-quality lamp beads. The simplest purpose of street lamp manufacturers who purchase LED lamp beads from small workshops is to save production costs. They use solar street lamps made of low-quality lamp beads, which not only have poor lighting effect, but also have a short service life.
