1、 General requirements

1. Firstly, before installation, carefully check and confirm that the explosion-proof lighting fittings are complete, free from deformation and other damage;

2. Confirm the specifications (cross-section) of the wires based on the purpose and installation location of the lighting fixtures;

3. If explosion-proof lighting fixtures are to be installed on ordinary brick walls, expansion bolts and fixing plugs should be installed in advance. Qisheng Electric specifically reminds everyone not to use wooden wedges to assist in installation;

4. Everyone should also pay attention to the installation height of explosion-proof lighting fixtures:

A. The installation of lighting fixtures in areas with high risk factors should be higher than 2.4 meters;

B. The installation of outdoor explosion-proof lighting fixtures should be higher than 3 meters;

C. The installation of lighting fixtures on the wall should be higher than 2.5 meters.

2、 Screw explosion-proof lamp wiring

1. For this type of explosion-proof lamp, the phase line must be connected to the central contact (the zero line is connected to the threaded terminal);

2. When wiring, attention should be paid to keeping the insulation components of the lamp housing intact (without damage);

3. If the lamp comes with a switch, it should be noted that there should be no wire ends on the switch handle, and the distance between the lamp and the insulation should be greater than 5mm (insulation measures should be taken if it is less than 5mm).
